This workshop is focusing on how you use your strengths to approach problems, deal with conflict, and process experiences. How do you use your strengths to stay clear, energized and purposeful? Are you using the strengths you were born with to support yourself? How do you know what to do if you are overusing  or underutilizing a strength? This workshop will teach you how to use your strengths to stay energized in your work and recognize places that are potentially weak for you and how to use your strengths to navigate them. 

Strengths Based training can help:

1. Clarify your talent so it can become a strength.
2. Refresh your perspective and approach with clients
3. Provide tools to consistently use your strengths while interacting
4. Teach techniques to stay energized and focused

ABOUT YOUR STRENGTHS
• Identify your strength summaries (1-17)
• Explore Strength modalities
• How are you using them?
• Could you use them better?
• Table discussion of one of top five strengths - Use image cards

5- minute break

11:10 AM - 12:35 PM
ABOUT YOUR STRENGTHS (CONTINUED)
• Identify your strength summaries (18-34)
• Discuss strength at tables using participants’ strengths.
• How are you using them?
• Could you use them better?
• How can individual strengths be utilized for therapeutic process?

LUNCH

1:20 PM - 2:45 PM
HOW CAN YOU APPLY STRENGTH BASED TRAINING TO WORK & PERSONAL LIFE?
• Looking at individual strengths as applied to your work
• Explore ways to use Strength Based Language for positive change
• Ways to integrate strength based training when applicable to therapeutic process


2:50 PM – 4:00 PM
A GENERAL REVIEW OF STRENGTH BASED TRAINING AND TOOLS FOR APPLICATION


• Using Strengths to help stay positive and energized
• Considering other ways Strength Based training functions as a tool
  Identify the techniques you will apply to use your strengths.
